The work was based on the 2017 Womens Aid report. The statistics in the report are visually represented. This piece represents the 2016 women who were violently killed by an intimate or former intimate partner. There are a total of 230( since the report was published there has been additional killings) Each women represented by a slip casted cup , with a celedon or copper red glaze .
